Purpose and information collected
MyAutoNation uses the contact information, vehicle details, history and photos you provide to evaluate your vehicle, prepare an offer and coordinate a potential acquisition. Do not include identity documents, people or unrelated personal information in evaluation photos.
Necessary service operations
We use hosting, database and private file storage, email delivery, fraud prevention and operational monitoring providers to run this service. Authorized staff access vehicle evaluations for their work. Evaluation photos are not public seller advertisements. Providers may process information outside Québec or Canada; the owner must approve the applicable safeguards and disclosures before intake opens.
Your browser and private links
Draft details and selected photos may be saved in this browser for up to seven days. Anyone using this browser may access them. Start over removes a draft when it is safe to do so; a pending submission must first be recovered. Offer and recovery links are private: do not share them.
Analytics and advertising
Optional Google Analytics and advertising tracking are not enabled in this release. Evaluation contact consent is not consent to marketing or advertising tracking. Any future optional measurement must have separate consent, an equally accessible refusal and a way to withdraw consent.
Requests and retention
Contact info@myautonation.ca with privacy questions or requests to access or correct your information, or to discuss withdrawing consent. Do not send identity documents with an initial request. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate transaction or legal requirements. The named privacy officer, retention schedule, deletion process and complaint procedure require owner approval before intake opens.
